We love the intensity in this viking’s eyes, as well as the intricate design of his sword and shield. There is also a great deal of detail in this image, and a beautiful color scheme that unifies blue and grey, accented by the brown of his beard and the red paint of his shield.
We love the ferocity in the eyes of the center viking as he slaughters his enemies in battle. However, in the bottom left corner stands a bystander who watches on. Though we cannot see his face, there is the sense that he stares on with a strange mix of both horror and cruel fascination.
